Reputation & Narrative Strategy
Perception is Reality
In high-performance environments, perception shapes reality.
Leaders and organisations can be performing well internally, yet still find themselves battling a narrative that tells a very different story outside the room.
I spent many years working inside elite sport where performance, media scrutiny and public perception constantly intersect. In those environments, reputation is not an abstract concept. It directly influences trust, belief and ultimately performance.
Understanding how narratives form and how they can be shaped is one of the most valuable strategic skills any organisation can develop.
If this area is something your organisation would benefit from exploring, feel free to get in touch.
How I Work
-

Executive Communication
Helping senior leaders communicate with clarity and authority when the stakes are high.
This includes preparing for interviews, public scrutiny, internal messaging and moments where leadership communication shapes the wider narrative around an organisation.
-

Reputation & Narrative Strategy
Every organisation has a story forming around it whether it actively shapes that narrative or not.
I work with leadership teams to understand how those narratives develop and how to align internal performance with external perception.
-

Media Confidence & Interview Preparation
In high-pressure environments, interviews are rarely just conversations. They are moments where credibility is built or eroded.
I help leaders and teams prepare for those moments so they communicate with confidence, clarity and control.
-

Communication Under Pressure
When results dip, criticism rises or unexpected events occur, the way an organisation communicates can either stabilise confidence or accelerate the crisis.
Having clear messaging, leadership alignment and calm communication in these moments is critical..
My experience spans over two decades working in professional sport environments where performance, scrutiny and reputation operate side by side.
In those environments, communication is never separate from performance. The two are constantly shaping each other.
That experience now informs the work I do with leaders, teams and organisations who operate under pressure and public scrutiny.
